Nuowu Village is located in the northern part of Mengku Town, at an altitude of over 1800 meters on the eastern slopes of Mengku Mountain. It is one of the five villages in Bingdao and faces the ancient Bingdao village across the valley. The area has a subtropical monsoon climate, and with the advantage of its altitude, it receives abundant rainfall, ample sunlight, and has a high vegetation coverage, making it one of the most verdant villages in Mengku Town.

Nuowu Old Village is a settlement of the Lahu people, and it wasn’t until 2014 that a road was constructed for access. Most villagers have moved down the mountain, returning only during the spring and autumn seasons to harvest tea. The village is free from the bustle of traffic, surrounded only by tranquil primeval forests and ancient tea tree groves with a history of several centuries. Although due to its inconvenient transportation, there aren't many tourists, Nuowu tea has always had a high reputation locally.

As the fame of Bingdao Old Village spread, the names of the five villages began to be recognized by more people. Nuowu's ancient tea gradually came into the spotlight, its rich sweetness and unique charm attracting numerous tea lovers, becoming a favorite among them.

The ancient tea trees here are mostly several centuries old, with dense branches and leaves and well-developed roots, growing vigorously.
